Q:hi gorgeous! i hope you had a nice-to-courtney Xmas, and that you enjoyed all your family. any plans for 2013? or do calendars even matter?
hello my love!! unfortunately my christmas was a fucking nightmare and pretty much sucked total ass. haha. i am super glad it is over!!!
as far as plans for 2013 go… i guess since the Mayan’s kinda dropped the ball on the whole doomsday/end of the world thing…. the only plans i really have at this point are to continue taking care of my grandparents full time like i have been since i moved back to phoenix… and i am considering taking a class or two… and at some point during this year i’m going to Brazil for a few weeks to spend time with an old friend who wants me to come out for a visit. sooo that should be a fun adventure for me! other than that… i am sure 2013 will just be the same shit as usual. haha
how about you?… what are your plans?
Q:good morning, gorgeous courtney! how are you? i know you are a johnny cash fan; do you also like the work of his daughter rosanne? if so, any favorites?
good morning, marcus! i’m doing pretty good… getting ready for my aunt and my cousin Eric and his wife who are visiting this weekend… i’m so excited! anyhow, yes i am a huge Johnny Cash fan… I’m also a pretty big fan of Rosanne Cash too… my favorite Rosanne Cash song is the title song from her 1981 album Seven Year Ache… actually that whole album is pretty great… but that song in particular is my favorite by her. i’ll post the song for you so you can hear it. ♥♥♥
Q:happy tuesday, gorgeous courtney! how are you? miss you! so, what's the best part(s) about living in phoenix when it's not a million degrees out there? (other than, it's not a million fuckin degrees)
happy tuesday to you too, love. i’m doing pretty good actually… i miss you too! the best part about living down in phoenix now that it’s not a million degrees out is that i get to be close to my family again… family is so important and i was so far away from them for so long and feel like i missed out on so much being gone for all those years… being back down here has been absolutely amazing… i get to spend time with my grandparents and be around to take care of them and of course being close with my mom and my sister, who are my best friends, has been so much fun too… i did not realize how much i missed being close to everyone until i got back down here… and now that i’m here i know there is no way i could go back to being far away from them again… for me the saying “home is where your heart is” is so true… and for now my heart is with my family.
Q:top of the morning to you, gorgeous!! how are you today? i've never been to vegas, and not sure if i even want to. i love new york, new orleans, san francisco . . . since you've been there several times, tell me, do you think vegas should be on anyone's 'bucket list'? why/why not?
good morning, baby. i am doing alright. thanks for asking. vegas…. well you are right i have been there several times… it can be fun for sure… there is a lot to see and do if you are into that flashy casino stuff and gambling or the club scene and what not… but i think any place can be fun with the right company. i don’t know that vegas would be something i’d put on a bucket list or anything though… i mean it’s a bunch of casinos and crowds… and a whole lot of lights but in my opinion not really something you can’t get from any other tourist trap or big flashy city… but i am sure there are others who feel differently about it… to me it’s just a dirty city with a lot of lights and casino shit and more tourists than you can shake a stick at… i have been to places i like a whole lot more than vegas that’s for sure. but i guess in my opinion people should go as many places as possible and see all they can see and experience everything they can so if vegas happens to become an option at some point in their lives sure go and see it and experience it just so you can say you’ve been there and done that… just take it at face value for what it is and don’t be surprised if you walk away wondering what all the fuss was about… oh and definitely don’t go in the summer because it is a hot miserable nightmare… and fucking packed full of tourists wandering around gawking at shit and getting in the way. lol.
Q:good tuesday morning to you, gorgeous courtney! how are you today? do you have any favorite chicago blues musicians? or any favorite chicago musicians period?
good tuesday morning to you too, baby! i am doing pretty good… a little sleepy still but good nevertheless. i do have a favorite Chicago musician as a matter of fact… Mavis Staples… though there have been a few others i really like a lot as well but i think most of them are dead… wait i take that back Buddy Guy is still alive and he lives in the Chicago area…
Q:good morning, gorgeous! i hope your tuesday treats you real good! so, when you start your own cult, and are the goddess of all, what things might you borrow from other religions? or, another way of putting it, are there aspects of some religions that you appreciate or could enjoy?
good morning, baby! when i start my own cult i don’t think i will borrow much from any of the religions because the other religions are false and worship deities that are not real. in my cult it’s emphasis would be on sex love, unity, compassion, acceptance and working together for the greater good and worship of the land and natural resources in order to live a more peaceful sustainable life in a communal type setting… whereas the other religions impose a god or gods into the mix as a means to control the people and manipulate them. my cult has no need for any of these silly gods or ritualistic practices they are a waste of time and counter productive because when you worship things that do not exist and base all your goals and principles around these imaginary idols you are living in a delusion. The only use I have for religion is from a scholastic stand point… i consider it to be like studying any of the other great pieces of fiction or works of literature but don’t see any point in using or applying religion in a literal sense because it is a bunch of nonsense and fairy tales.
Q:good tuesday morning to you , gorgeous! i hope your tuesday is happy! so, what was the last live concert you went to, and do you have a favorite concert that you attended?
good tuesday to you too, my love! i hope your day is happy as well! i have not been to a concert for a few years but i believe the last one i saw was Solomon Burke out here at some festival before he died… i generally enjoy going to more smaller venues and shows rather than the big concerts and what not… but that concert was a lot of fun because i got to sit and talk with him backstage because i was working with one of the other bands playing the festival… he had the biggest entourage ever i swear… the man had something like 27 children plus an ungodly amount of grandchildren and i think just about every one of them had some part in his gig be it as a band member or personal assistant or manager… i kid you not they all had their own little part to play. it was quite fascinating. lol. anyhow my favorite concert was probably the Fleetwood Mac reunion show called The Dance, back in 1997 we had pretty killer seats for that one… 3rd or 4th row center or something insane like that… i bought 3 tickets one for me one for my mom and one for my sister and paid a disgusting amount for them too… i was quite the Stevie fanatic back then, so it was worth it… we all had a blast.
Q:good morning, beautiful! how are you today? do you like boating? any good boating memories? are you a member of the fuck in a boat club? (i think we need to come up with a good name for it like airplanes have with 'the mile high club)
good morning to you too, baby!! i was feeling kinda blah before but i am feeling much better now that i’ve gotten my message from you. ♥ anyhow… back to your questions… do i like boating? well it depends on where we are talking about boating and what kind of boating… i used to go boating quite a bit with this friend of mine named Walter out here at the lake down the road from my house… he had a killer speed boat and so we’d go water skiing and fucking around down at the lake every week… and i enjoyed that a lot until the lake cops started making it hard to have fun by patrolling and handing out tickets to everyone like fucking nazis… and for stupid shit too!… it became a real problem when the economy started to tank… i think they figured they could make up some extra cash by handing out tickets everywhere they could and unfortunately the lake was included… as for boating out in the ocean… i suppose i am okay with that too so long as we are not too far out and the weather is nice… i get kinda panicky and freak out a little if we are way the fuck out and shit gets rough cause i am scared to death that the boat will sink or i’ll get flung over the side or some shit and be out there floating around and some sea beast will eat me… you know me and my irrational fear of sharks and sea beasts and what not. i do not like fucking around or swimming out in the water if my feet can’t touch the bottom… it freaks me the fuck out bad to the point of being pretty ridiculous. anyhow, i have sailed from long beach to catalina island a few times and that was fun… i did not freak out or get too scared cause the weather was nice and it was a pretty short easy trip. lol. as for the “fuck in a boat club” and whether or not i am a member… i guess that depends on if it counts or not if it is a house boat that stays docked or not… if it does count than yes i suppose i am a member of the fuck in a boat club… several times over actually cause i have had tons of sex on one of those. this boyfriend and i almost bought it from a friend of ours and were going to live on it… but we decided not to in the end.
oh! and i agree we totally need to come up with a better name for it than “fuck in a boat club” lol. =)
Q:hey there, gorgeous! happy july 3 to you! do you have any favorite memories of july 4? did you ever have a 'flag' style bikini? you'd look the best in one! i'd happily salute!
hey baby!! happy july 3 to you too! let me think i hardly ever do anything for july 4th if i am living in Arizona because it is too fucking hot to do anything… unless you go to the lake or something or you have a pool… and as you know i do not have one anymore, unfortunately… and the lake on the 4th out here is a huge cluster fuck and too many damn people go so there are always a bunch of lake cops up everyone’s ass handing out tickets and shit so that is not as much fun as it used to be… but a few years back i used to have a house with a big ass back yard and pool and i had a party and had a bunch of friends over and my mom and sister came too. my front yard was lined with all my friends Harley’s and and hot rods and at the time i had this 1927 T-bucket hot rod that was cool as fuck and my mom had never seen it and wanted to ride in it… i was too smashed to drive it so i made my boyfriend take her down to the end of the street in it and race a friend of ours so she could see how fast it was and she thought that was the greatest thing ever because she had never seen anything like it or ever been to any street races or anything… it was so cute she had a blast and kept making him race people because she loved winning. anyhow after about 10 races down the street she had finally had her fill and was ready to get back to swimming so she went to get out of the hot rod and she put her foot down right on the exhaust pipe that ran down the side and burnt the fuck out of her foot… luckily she was pretty smashed as well and it didn’t hurt too much… at least not that night. lol. the next day though she was hurting for certain and had a pretty nasty burn and one hell of a hangover. anyhow that party was a lot of fun. that is probably one of the best 4th of july parties i have ever had… for sure.
as for the flag style bikini… i am trying to think and i have had about a million bikinis over the years but i don’t believe i have ever had one of those… i think a flag bikini is just a little too hipster for my taste. lol.
Q:top of the morning to you, beautiful! so, how important is size to you? lol. and by size i mean size of a city. would you like to live in happening, interesting big city like NYC or New Orleans (or some other), or would you rather live in a small cool town, such as Jerome? (or maybe live in one and visit the other a lot?)
good morning to you too, baby! i have lived all over… big cities have their perks but so does small town living… the happiest i have ever been was living in Jerome, AZ which is a ghost town and really small with only about 300 people total… as you know. but i could also see myself living in a city as well if it were a city like New Orleans or some place cool like that. ideally though i would much rather just buy some land some place that was big enough to make a self sustaining, green, utopian, sorta hippie commune and start my little cult out there and all my friends could come live out there and we’d have our own little society and if we needed to we could still be close enough to go into the city a couple times a month for supplies but other than that we’d be pretty self sustaining and not have to deal with anything out in the real world unless we chose to… everyone could contribute and work together and bring their skill or talent and put it to use to better serve the community. that is like my total wet dream… but you already know that… so any place i could get away with that type of set up would be nice… i’d assume out in the country some place rather than some big ass city. i am going to be the best cult leader ever!! i so should have been born so much earlier so i could have taken advantage of the 1960’s…lmao.
Q:good morning, gorgeous! your truthful tuesday post was so good; thanks for putting so much out there so well. entertaining, hard, sad, happy, personal, generous, real, inspiring, thoughtful. i hope you have a great day! may all the gods who don't exist bless you and may you have good fuckin' luck, too!
good morning to you too, my love!! i am glad you enjoyed my truthful tuesday post… i figured it had been such a long time since i actually shared anything about me the person as opposed to me the nympho and that i should probably throw a little something about myself out there to remind people that i am an actual human and not just some crazy horny nymphomaniac… not that that would be untrue but the crazy horny nymphomaniac is still a human and does have more to her than just the obvious sex and music aspect…is all i mean. lol. anyhow… “jesus” i hope you have a great day filled with blessings and good fuckin’ luck as well, love. and better yet hope we have good fuckin’ luck together. lmao. let me know. ;)
Q:hello gorgeous! how are you today? so i've been thinking lately about skulls; about how they are so common in human artistic expression, for example on tats, medieval paintings, mayan art etc etc. why do you think this is? what do humans find so fascinating about skulls? you often put them on your blog; why? what do they mean to you? do you have a favorite artistic depiction of a skull?
hi baby! i am okay now… watched a documentary a little earlier and got all emotional but i am much better now, thank you. lol
you are right skulls are pretty common so it seems… why i am not exactly sure i suspect because it represents death and something dark and rebellious in a way… and you are right i do often put them on my blog and as you are aware i myself have a skull tattoo as well which was inspired by the comic book vixen Vampress Luxura from the Vamperotica comics… anyhow i guess for me skulls have always just been sorta spooky and dark and i definitely have that spooky dark side to my personality. i am sure others do the skull thing for other reasons but that is mine i suppose.
Q:Good morning, gorgeous! How are you today? In your travels, what's the worst thing you have ever eaten? and the best?
good morning! i’m doing alright thanks for asking. do you mean what kind of food as in a specific dish or do you mean food from a certain place or region? not sure what you mean exactly i do however know the grossest shit i have ever eaten in my life was either escargot or liver… that shit is just nasty. i am pretty fond of Mexican and New Mexican cuisine… so i am sure whatever i had that was the best was something along those lines… Cajun food is pretty fucking good too though… i like spicy shit a lot.
Q:hello, gorgeous! how are you today, courtney? when and where was the last time you watched the sunset? were you with someone?
hello, baby. i am doing so so… i miss you like crazy!… but other than that i’m doing pretty good i guess. let me see… i can’t even remember the last time i just sat and watched the sunset… isn’t that sad!? i should work on that. i wish i was sitting and watching it with you right now though… for what it is worth. haha.
Q:happy tuesday to you, beautiful! i know you have a favorite tequila; do you have any favorite mexican (or just latin) bands or artists?
hey baby… sorry i have been missing in action i have been down at my mom’s house and have not been online at all.
anyhow… i do have a favorite tequila… it is actually an ex boyfriends family’s tequila… it is called Lamas Tequila… as for latin bands or artists I have always been a big fan of Ralfi Pagan.
